Women's association football

Women's association football

Women's association football has been played for a long time, but was associated with charity games and physical exercise in the past before the breakthrough of organized women's association football came in the 1970s. Before the 1970s, association football was mostly seen as a men's game. Association football is the most prominent team sport for women in a few countries, and one of the few women's team sports with professional leagues.

The growth in women's football has seen major competitions being launched at both national and international level. Women's football faced many struggles throughout its fight for right. Although the women's football had its first golden age in the UK in early 1920s when some matches achieved over 50,000 spectators,but this was stopped on 5 December 1921 when England's Football Association voted to ban the game from grounds used by its member clubs. The ban was cancelled in July 1971.

His Story of S O C C E R

Who Exactly Invented S O C C E R aka F O O T B A L L?

called as Shalygah In Russia ancient ball games played on the ice of rivers or on the market square with a leather ball stuffed with feathers.

The ancient Greeks played a game called Episkiros, Greece (around 2000 BC).The game involved kicking and throwing the ball within an open aria marked off with boundary line - and they play NUDE because a well-built, athletic, and healthy body was the matter of demonstration and appreciation.

        Soccer is known as football outside the United States and Australia
Soccer in England as we currently know began in 1863 when rugby football and association football (soccer) branched off to become what they presently are.

Flying to CHINA. According to Chinese records, back 2,000 years ago Chinese emperors entertained themselves with a ball game, called  Tsu Chu that means "football" (kicking the ball with the foot).
It believed that the Japanese game called Kemari developed from Chinese ball game in the 7th century. They had to keep the ball from touching the ground juggling it with their feet and passing it from one to another. Today the game of Kemari is still played by Japanese enthusiasts.

The Romans copied the Greek game and brought it up to the next level adding many tricks and passing combinations to the game. Harpastum means "the small ball game". It was played with a hard ball of 8 inches in diameter by 5-12 players on a rectangular field marked by boundary lines and split by a center line.
The game of Calico was played in Italian cities such as Venice and Florence in the 16th and 17th centuries. However the similarity of Calcio and the Roman game of Harpastum is obvious. Two teams of rich aristocrats (27 players in each team) would attempt to force the ball through openings at either end of a city square. They could use both the feet and hands.

The Romans introduced Harpastum into France around 50 BCE. The French took the game and developed their own version called La Choule or La Soule that means "the sun". The game was played on Sundays until sunset

The Conclusion ----------------------------------------------->

Football is as old as the world … People have always played some form of football, from its very basic form of kicking a ball around to the game it is today.-
Sepp Blatter, President of FIFA
